Groom And Bride

Yetunde

Our families are quite close, but I’m not particularly close to him and he’s miles away from home. In the year 2020 amidst covid, he just rang my phone out of the blue, we got talking and the rest they say… is history.

Ifeoluwa

I was far away but she did not realise my countless visits to her home were reconnaissance missions. When the time was right, I made the call to the most eligible and befitting Companion…here we are.

Our Love Story

We Met

Not one of the eventful ones. We are not strangers to each other because we innocently grew up just few streets apart.

We Fell In Love

Brought together by the sacred bond of friensdship, we took things very slowly to ensure all stones were turned.

Our love grew through effective
communication (comfortable and
uncomfortable conversations), mutual respect, understanding and support, until we felt it was right and decided to move onto the next phase.

He Proposed

Proposal came out of the blues on 21st June 2024, when Yetunde least expected it. To the amazement of most of the witnesses, Ife proposed in his mother tongue as a confirmation of his continued closeness to his roots, despite being ‘miles away from home’
